Loving someone with a Broken Heart

Have you ever loved someone with a broken heart?

Being a single mom requires healing with a broken heart. Being a single mom requires loving your child while healing from the disappointment of a failed relationship. This shit is hard. It is hard because ultimately you're fighting with yourself mentally and emotionally.

As a single mom, I've come to realize that healing from a broken heart while raising a child is one of the hardest challenges life can throw at you. It's a journey filled with emotional turmoil and self-doubt, where every step forward feels like a battle within yourself.

But the pain, I'm starting to see that endings often open doors to new beginnings, guided by the divine plan that God has for us. Through the ups and downs of my pregnancy, marked by intense emotions and physical struggles, I've found solace in the profound protection and blessings that God has granted me.

Bringing a child into this world, especially one who defied the odds against a 4lb fibroid, has shown me the incredible strength and resilience that lies within us. In this new phase of my life, I'm learning to set gentle boundaries and embrace my vulnerability with a newfound tenderness.

Above all, I'm leaning into the comforting embrace of God's love, trusting in His unwavering shield to safeguard my fragile heart as I navigate the joys and challenges of single motherhood.

I am nurturing my child with a heart that bears wounds.
