How to Celebrate National Co-parenting Day: Tips for Successful Co-parenting
Dear Ladies,
I'm navigating this co-parenting journey, only about two weeks in. Each day teaches me the importance of maturity, healing, forgiveness, and faith in God. Before realizing today was National Co-parenting Day, I sought solace in prayer, asking for healing from any lingering relational desires.
Understanding that some relationships won't thrive and recognizing our child as the top priority gradually brings solace. I've embarked on therapy, strengthened my bond with God, and forgiven myself for past reactions that could potentially affect my son. By staying focused on my goals and aspirations for my child, I keep myself occupied. Healing is a continuous process, and though my heart is still mending, I'm dedicated to providing my baby with something I never had.
Co-parenting, sharing spaces, and healing emotions are vital, especially for Ermias. Time will ease the pain, but it won't defeat me.
To Ermias's Dad:
You're an exceptional father, and I acknowledge and respect that. Let's continue prioritizing him together. We're all we've got, and where one of us falls short, the other picks up. We're equals in this journey.
Sincerely, J
